HISTORY OF OUR DENOMINATION
In 1981, the Good Samaritan Worship Center denomination was founded by Pastor “Ike” Isakara Sataraka, Pastor Elizabeth Sataraka, and the late Reverend Aofia Falafine. They felt the call of God to reach the inner cities of their hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii and abroad. A year later they began feeding the homeless three days a week at A’ala Park and sharing the love of God through the preaching of the Gospel.
In 1983 missionaries from GSWC were sent to the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Long Beach. In each city churches were established with the goal of equipping their body of believers to fulfill the Great Commission. God further expanded our territory, allowing several to establish the first hospital and prison ministry. By 1985 GSWC expanded into overseas missions in countries such as America Samoa, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Korea, and Tonga.

HISTORY OF GOOD SAMARITAN WORSHIP CENTER SAN DIEGO
Pastor John Liulamaga and Senia Liulamaga were the senior pastors of Good Samaritan Worship Center San Francisco for 7 years. In September of 2013 they felt a divine call of God to plant a church in San Diego. Stepping out on faith they ventured south with great expectations in what God had in store for them in their new assignment. Good Samaritan Worship Center San Diego started with nine women and is still moving in the power of the Holy Spirit! In our six years we’ve seen God move in miraculous ways and, with great expectations, we are moving forward into the next ventures God has for us!
